Since 2010 we have carried out our own program of sex education for high school students that has been successful and has received very positive opinions, both among students as well as school counsellors and psychologists. We provide young people with information on how to make responsible, independent decisions, how to anticipate some of the consequences of their actions, how to care for their health and how not to manipulate a peer group. The guiding idea of the program is that sexuality is an important part of human life and that it should be wisely and responsibly handled.
Over the last 8 years in our workshops was attended by over 5000 teenagers. We were also able to convince councilors of City Council that the sex education program should be financed from the city budget. The program has been running since 2012. This is a big success and Lodz is a pioneer such project in Poland. Implementation of the program in our city is helping to solve such a problems as: an early, unwanted pregnancy, dropping out of school, risky sexual behaviour, poverty passed on from generation to generation.
We cooperate with kindergartens, primary, secondary and high schools, orphanages, educational and social therapy centers.
Sexuality education workshops are a proprietary program created by Aleksandra Dulas and Anna Jurek. All educators and all Foundation educators work at improving the program.
Our team consists of 10 people among which are: sociologists, philosophers, anthropologists, psychologists, therapists, anti-dicrimination educators.
We love our work.
