The SPUNK Foundation has been publishing Łódzka Gazeta Społeczna „Miasto Ł” (the Newspaper „City of Ł”) for over four years. Every month we write about issues important for Łódź (and not only) – about education, culture, environment, about smog and massive tree felling, about public transport, about flats and evictions, about local initiatives, festivals and dozens of people who every day work for our city.

Editorial Team

„City of Ł” is currently the only such monthly magazine in Poland, based solely on civic journalism and extensive volunteer involvement. The newspaper is created not only by the editorial board and people cooperating with us but by every inhabitant of Łódź or every person who has something to say and does it on our pages.
